Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission must be made on the official abstract submission form downloadable from Conference website. You will receive a confirmation email after the abstract is properly received before 15 June 2012. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee and notification of acceptance will be sent out on 15 August 2012.
Participants are invited to submit abstracts on clinical/scientific topics related to geriatrics on the following aspects:
  • Bone Health and Falls
  • Cognitive Impairment
  • Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Community service models
  • COPD
  • Diabetes
  • End of Life Care
  • Geriatrics Nursing
  • Liaison with Hospital Care for Elderly (ACE)
  • Long Term Care
  • Nutrition
  • Rehabilitation
  • Renal Failure
  • Sarcopenia and Frailty
  • Stroke (Treatment & Prevention)

Important notes

  • Abstract must be written in English
  • No more than 400 words (not including title, authors and affiliations)
  • Type single-space in MS Word format using Times New Roman, 12-point font.
  • Abstract title should be typed in title case and bold, do not underline
  • Authorship: Type the author name(s), institution name(s) and country of origin. Underline the presenting author.
  • References and credits should not be included.
  • Content of abstract should include: Objective, Method, Results and Conclusion.
